Background
The future of the growth-based economy is a mystery, driven by capital free movement and interconnectedness yet shrouded in the fog of technological advancement. Some believe that the next tech bubble will be caused by the metaverse, a virtual world where people can interact with each other and with digital content, or even create digital wealth. Others believe that AI will be the next big thing, and that it will revolutionise many industries. Still those who preserve control believe that cybersecurity will be the biggest challenge facing the growth-based economy in our present time. Whatever the future holds, it is clear that the growth-based economy is undergoing a major transformation requiring businesses able to adapt to the changes to thrive.
About the event
Today, since ChatGPT, the rapid proliferation of AI, especially generative AI, has rejuvenated a lot of opportunities for augmenting, automating, or even further delegating knowledge workers and creative jobs. Meanwhile, according to the 2022 Gartner Financial Services Technology Survey, 54% of banking leaders and 61% of insurance leaders want to increase the level of automation in their organisations to gain a strategic advantage.
The long desire for automation and the fast pace of AI innovation may push businesses to adopt first while having less attention on risk management and cybersecurity. In the recent past, we had seen WannaCry ransomware and the Equifax data breach in 2017 and SolarWinds software supply chain attacks in 2020.
From the outside, there are malicious actors, including nation state actors, harnessing AI to run sophisticated, targeted, and automated attacks to the business evading standard detection, such as deep fakes against current eKYC.
We will be discussing topics such as:
- How Surrogates (AI agents) will change our digital space.
- Risks of deep fakes and other AI-crafted information.
- Cyber defence architecture in the AI era.
- Secure wealth creation in the metaverse.
We will be joined by industry experts including from Google Cloud.
Seize the opportunity to be a part of this illuminating discussion that will shape the future of fintech, e-commerce, and security. The capacity of the roundtable is 15 executives. Your registration will be reviewed and we will confirm your spot within the next few days.
