Marcos Remón studied computer engineering at the University of Alicante, where he began to lay the foundations of his passion for technology. His pursuit of excellence and his desire to overcome technical challenges led him to work as a Data Engineer in several companies before joining Devoteam.

In his role as Presales Data Lead at Devoteam G Cloud Spain, Marcos is a key pillar in building innovative solutions to business challenges. His focus is on building solid and customized project plans, tailored to the specific needs of customers looking to innovate in the data area.
Forging solutions at Devoteam
Marcos Remón joined Devoteam 2 years ago and, since then, has been a key player in the growth of the Devoteam G Cloud Data Team. Since its beginnings, the team has grown and today has more than 25 engineers dedicated to providing solutions in Google Cloud.
Projects that Inspired
Marcos shares his most significant projects. In one of them, they pull data from a variety of sources, such as Jira, Salesforce, DV360 and Google Analytics. Then, they use tools like Cloud Functions and Cloud Run to consolidate this data into BigQuery, allowing clients to access the information through Google Sheets and Looker to make informed decisions.
In another project, they employ powerful Google APIs, such as Vision API, to automate the processing of thousands of images and detect inappropriate content or branding.
Today, Marcos leads Generative AI projects and works on cutting-edge technologies such as Document AI and Vertex AI Search.

Marcos’ success is not individual, but part of an exceptional team at Devoteam G Cloud Spain. This young and talented team has an insatiable desire for continuous growth. Currently, Marcos has achieved a mind-blowing 6 different certifications, including titles such as Cloud Architect, Professional Data Engineer, and Digital Leader, among others. His long-term goal is to continue accumulating more certifications, which shows his unwavering passion for technology and continuous learning.

To become successfully certified, my advice would be as the following:
